About Tribeca Living

Tribeca Living began in a small textile workshop where a father passed the craft of fabric finishing to his children. That first generation understood cotton at a molecular level: how fiber length determined softness, how brushing transformed a flat weave into flannel, how thread count affected drape and durability. They spent years perfecting sheet sets that felt as good on the hundredth wash as they did on the first.

The second generation expanded the business without abandoning those principles. They added velvet quilts to the line, choosing a 260GSM weight that delivered plush warmth without excessive bulk. They introduced Egyptian cotton percale for sleepers who prefer a crisp, cool hand. They developed bamboo sateen sheets for customers sensitive to heat. Every new product went through the same testing the founders demanded: repeated washing, colorfastness checks, and tactile evaluation by hand.

Deep pocket fitted sheets became a defining feature of the brand. As mattress manufacturers built thicker and taller beds, standard sheets stopped fitting. Tribeca Living responded with 21 to 24 inch pocket depths and fully elasticized edges that grip pillow-top, memory foam, and hybrid mattresses without slipping or bunching. Customers stopped waking up at 3 AM to fix a pulled corner.

Certification programs followed. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 verified that every fabric left the factory free from harmful chemicals. GOTS certification confirmed organic cotton sourcing. Fair Trade and Made in Green credentials validated ethical labor practices through the supply chain. These weren't marketing additions. The family considered them baseline requirements for selling bedding that touched skin for eight hours a night.

Today the collection includes 15 curated products spanning cotton flannel, cotton sateen, cotton percale, bamboo rayon, and polyester velvet. Each comes in coordinated sets with carefully matched pillowcases, shams, and flat sheets. The brand serves homeowners, interior designers, gift shoppers, and anyone who believes the fabric between their body and the mattress deserves as much attention as the mattress itself.

The workshop grew, but the original promise remains: make bedding worth keeping for years. Every Tribeca Living product reflects the accumulated knowledge of two generations of textile craftspeople who test their work the same way their customers use it: by sleeping on it.
